Welcome to the official website for the Slovan-Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department. The members of the Slovan-Smith Township Volunteer Fire Company provide fire protection and rescue services to Smith Township, 1/3 of Cross Creek Township, and surrounding communities.

 Our fire department is made up of volunteers 24 hours a day and 1 paid firefighter Monday-Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm. These volunteers are your friends, family and neighbors who are dedicated to protecting the residents as well as the homes and businesses of Smith Township and surrounding communities.

We have two fire stations. Our main station is located at 1934 Smith Township State Road, Slovan, Pa 15078 and the substation is located at 415 Joffre Cherry Valley Rd. Burgettstown, Pa 15021. Monthly business meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at our main station in Slovan starting at 7:00 PM. Training drills are held on the second, and fourth Wednesday’s of each month.
